For Candidates Entering MSEd – Advanced Programs (non-certification)

Transition Point 1 – Admitted as a Graduate Student
1. Meets all entrance requirements to Missouri State University Graduate College

Transition Point 2 – Admission into MSED Secondary Program
1. Meets requirements for entrance into MSED academic program (non-certification).
2. Program of Study identified.

Transition Point 3 – Completion of Degree Requirements
1. Maintain 3.0 GPA or better.
2. Successful passing of Comprehensive Exam.
3. Successful completion of All Degree Requirements.

Transition Point 4 – Program Completion
1. Exit Survey (Center for Assessment – Graduate College sponsored)
2. Master’s Degree conferred.

Transition Point 5 – Post Graduation
1. Follow-up survey to employers for first two years (Survey Monkey)
2. Professional Development opportunities available to graduate via place of employment
