Want to major in electrical engineering? Follow the steps below to get started.

Your first steps

Begin at Missouri State. After your first year, apply to Missouri S&T.

From start to finish, you can take all courses at Missouri State.

  1. First, become a Bear: Apply to Missouri State.
  2. Then, declare or change your major to electrical engineering by contacting the Academic Advising and Transfer Center. An engineering advisor can assist you.
  3. Complete all courses in the freshman engineering curriculum. You must complete the curriculum with a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
  4. Working with your advisor, apply for admission to Missouri S&T and its cooperative electrical engineering program.
