Additional notes

  • You must satisfy the admission requirements in the Missouri State University catalog and be admitted to Missouri State University.
  • The remaining three years of the engineering curriculum depends on the major you select.
    • If you're majoring in civil, electrical or mechanical engineering, you will complete your degree on the Missouri State University campus. Your degree will be granted from Missouri S&T.
    • If you want to pursue a different engineering degree, you should consult with an academic advisor to plan your second year of course work at Missouri State University. You'll prepare to transfer to Missouri S&T or another engineering school to complete your degree.
  • Formal admission into the cooperative engineering program will be made by the Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T), in consultation with Missouri State University, according to the admission criteria described in the Missouri S&T catalog.
  • Refer to prerequisite requirements for any math (MTH) class requirements.
