Directions to SOAR parking

From the north on Highway 13 (Kansas City area)

  1. Stay on Highway 13 from Clinton — which becomes Kansas Expressway as you reach Springfield — until you reach Chestnut Expressway.
  2. Turn left (east) and follow Chestnut Expressway for approximately two miles.
  3. Turn right (south) on National Avenue.
  4. Turn right (west) on Bear Boulevard, the main entrance to the University.
  5. Continue on Bear Boulevard. Parking for SOAR will be located in lot 15, west of Greenwood Laboratory School.

From the east on I-44 (St. Louis area)

  1. Exit I-44 at the US 65 south exit for Branson.
  2. Stay on US 65 (south) 2.5 miles. Take the Chestnut Expressway exit.
  3. Turn right (west) and stay on Chestnut Expressway about 2.7 miles until you reach National Avenue.
  4. Turn left (south) and follow National Avenue approximately one mile.
  5. Turn right (west) on Bear Boulevard, the main entrance to the University.
  6. Continue on Bear Boulevard. Parking for SOAR will be located in lot 15, west of Greenwood Laboratory School.

From the west on I-44 (from the Joplin/Tulsa area)

  1. Exit I-44 at the Chestnut Expressway exit and turn right (east).
  2. Continue on Chestnut Expressway until you reach National Avenue.
  3. Turn right (south) on National Avenue.
  4. Turn right (west) on Bear Boulevard, the main entrance to the University.
  5. Continue on Bear Boulevard. Parking for SOAR will be located in lot 15, west of Greenwood Laboratory School.

From the north or south on US 65

  1. Exit US 65 at the Chestnut Expressway exit.
  2. Go west on Chestnut Expressway about 2.7 miles to National Avenue.
  3. Turn left (south) and follow National Avenue approximately one mile.
  4. Turn right (west) on Bear Boulevard, the main entrance to the University.
  5. Continue on Bear Boulevard. Parking for SOAR will be located in lot 15, west of Greenwood Laboratory School.

From the east on US 60

  1. Exit US 60 (or James River Expressway) at the National Avenue exit.
  2. Turn right (north) and follow National Avenue approximately 3.5 miles to the Missouri State campus.
  3. Turn left (west) on Bear Boulevard, the main entrance to the University.
  4. Continue on Bear Boulevard. Parking for SOAR will be located in lot 15, west of Greenwood Laboratory School.

From the Springfield-Branson National Airport

  1. When exiting the terminal, turn left (east) on EE Highway/Division.
  2. Continue on Division for 3 miles.
  3. Turn right (south) on West Bypass for one mile.
  4. Turn left (east) on Chestnut Expressway.
  5. Continue on Chestnut Expressway for 4.1 miles, then turn right (south) on National Avenue.
  6. Continue on National Avenue for about 1 mile.
  7. Turn right (west) on Bear Boulevard, the main entrance to the University.
  8. Continue on Bear Boulevard. Parking for SOAR will be located in lot 15, west of Greenwood Laboratory School.
