Registration for the one-day SOAR Session for Fall 2024 classes at Missouri State
opens on July 28th.
First-time, admitted students who have fewer than 24 transferable credit hours earned
AFTER high school graduation are required to pay a $150.00 enrollment deposit. Payment
of the enrollment deposit serves as the student’s official acceptance of their offer of admission and
qualifies the student to register for a required Student Orientation, Advisement,
and Registration (SOAR) program. Family members are encouraged to attend SOAR with
their student but it is not required. The fee for family members to attend is $30
per family member, up to two family members.

Change my SOAR Date:
You cannot be registered for two SOAR sessions at the same time. If you need to change
your session date, log back in to the SOAR registration portal ( https://futurebears.missouristate.edu/portal/soar) and select the session you are currently registered for. Click the "Cancel Registration"
button to un-register yourself. Once you've cancelled your existing reservation, you'll
have the ability to register for a different date.
Please know that once you un-register for a session, that space will open up for someone
else. Be sure to check availability for other session dates before you un-register
yourself.
Adding a family member to your SOAR reservation:
Log in to the SOAR registration portal ( https://futurebears.missouristate.edu/portal/soar) and select the session you are currently registered for. Click the “Edit Registration”
button to make changes to your reservation. Select the number of family members you
wish to register and fill out the required information. A $30 family member fee will
be collected as part of registration.
