Ready to get fit and feel better? The Exercise Science Program and MSU Employee Wellness have joined forces to create a dynamic semester long employee fitness program.  Senior Exercise Science students under the direction of Dr. Stacy Goddard will lead you through this program.  With state-of-the-art fitness assessment equipment, the participant will know where they are in their fitness journey.  With the help of a team of professionals you can begin to change your fitness profile by the end of the semester. 

Program Details

Employee tasks

  • Initial pretests with instructor to assess current health and fitness
  • Meet with Instructor once/week for a training session
  • Participate in personalized exercise program at least two other times per week
  • Retest fitness assessment at the end of the semester
  • Complete PAR-Q and informed consent
  • Keep workout data points.
  • Communicate with instructor to schedule required sessions.

What the employee will get during this program?

  1. Resting Metabolic Rate and Body Composition measurements
  2. Fitness tests to include submax aerobic, muscular endurance, muscular strength, flexibility, and balance tests.
  3. A weekly fitness plan created by the fitness instructor.
  4. One personal training session per week, employee will be responsible for minimum of 2 other workouts per week.

Registration fee: $75 

Once registered please allow 48 hours for Exercise Science Instructor to contact you by email.
