Missouri State University Career Center
This dedicated office is located on the main MSU campus, and can help with a number
of different areas that relate to your employment and career search. The Career Center
is known for its career fairs, "job tracks" employment system, and other related programing.
They can also help students focus in on an areas of interest and identify different
career options. The Career Center has its main office in Carrington Hall 309, and
an office in Glass Hall 103 for your convenience. Their office hours are Monday -

Ozark Region Missouri Career Center (Workforce Development)
This state of Missouri resource helps people locate immediate employment in the region.
They can help with a variety of different areas as it relates to your career success.
When you call ask to speak with the Veterans Specialist, as they can often times provide
more focused assistance. Their office is located at: 2900 East Sunshine St., Springfield,

your transition as a student, consider this option. There are many on-campus, student
related positions available throughout the year.*
VA Work Study Program
This opportunity applies to those students using educational benefits through the
Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). VA Work Study positions at MSU are extremely
competitive, for information regarding this program, and when to apply please contact
the Veteran Student Center at 417-836-6199. There are often VA Work Study positions
in the local area, if all VA Work Study positions have been filled on-campus.*
