Multicultural Achievement Celebration

Spring 2018 Multicultural Services Graduation Group Portrait

Hosted for the first time in May 2017, the Multicultural Achievement Celebration brings student leaders, their families, staff, and faculty together to honor and celebrate the achievements of students who have had an impact on Missouri State University and the unit of Student Support & Opportunity Services. Students, through their involvement in a variety of programming such as Bears Lead, Access and Success Programs, and TRIO; student employment, peer mentoring, or participation in the Inclusive Excellence Scholarship program will be honored for making Missouri State University a  welcoming and just community.

Students honored at the celeberation will receive a kente cloth stole. These stoles represent their commitment to inclusive engagement, education, and community at Missouri State University and beyond.

Student Support & Opportunity Services, International Programs, and the Disability Resource Center will host a Multicultural Achievement Celebration at the end of each semester.
