Student Support & Opportunity Services Mission Statement

Missouri State University's Student Support and Opportunity Services is the unit in the Division of Student Affairs that exists to foster and support the intellectual, social, and cultural development of all students. Together, these programs and offices support the University Public Affairs Mission and Three Pillars: Community Engagement, Ethical Leadership, and Cultural Competence. These efforts help retain and encourage our students as they matriculate. By providing academic, cultural and social programming and services that are relevant to the experiences of all of our students, students thrive and connect with their peers, mentors, faculty, and staff here at Missouri State University.

Offices within Student Support and Opportunity Services include the Office of Multicultural Programs, Access & Success Programs, Bears Lead, and TRIO Programs.
