Housing at SOAR

Limited on-campus housing is available for family members attending SOAR for the first night of the SOAR session. The cost is $25 per family member. Many Springfield hotels offer discounted rates for families of Missouri State students.

Packing for your stay

Consider packing the following times in a separate suitcase from family members:

  • Casual clothing, including comfortable walking shoes
  • A light jacket or sweater for air-conditioned meeting rooms
  • A blanket for air-conditioned residence hall rooms (bed linens and pillows are provided)
  • An umbrella or rain gear
  • Toiletries, such as toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, deodorant, hand soap, etc. (towels are provided)
  • Alarm clock

Towels and linens are provided in rooms.
