Student Opportunities
Taking the right steps toward a successful future
From participating in internships and field experiences, to belonging to student organizations, there are numerous opportunities for our students to learn beyond the classroom. Our faculty advisors are committed to helping you develop a degree plan to reach your educational and career goals, while our student organizations and student teaching opportunities provide you with firsthand experiences and professional development opportunities.
Hands-on experiences
Perhaps the most important aspects of these involvement opportunities are the various kinds of hands-on experiences available through participation in field-experiences, internships and student teaching; volunteering in the community; and traveling to professional conferences. These experiences are supported by course credits, scholarships and grants, as well as community partners who provide sites for our students to learn more about careers and other interests.
