Augmentative and Alternative Communication Lab
What is the CSD AAC Language Lab?
The Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Lab houses equipment and resources that support the MSU Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic, academic courses, and faculty and student research. Resources in the lab include high tech AAC devices such as the Tobii Dynavox I series, the Prentke Romich Accent, and the Saltillo Nova Chat. In addition, the lab houses several iPads with communication apps. In addition, the lab contains low-tech communication devices and boards, AAC assessment materials and resources, and alternative access equipment such as switches and adapted keyboards.
