Admission Requirements

ATCAS Application Checklist

1. Create an account in ATCAS. Follow ATCAS directions to complete the application.
2. Submit official transcripts. To verify completion of prerequisite courses and a bachelor's degree, submit transcripts to ATCAS using the Transcript Request Form. If you have not completed your bachelor's degree or all prerequisite courses at the time you apply, you will be able to submit final verification later. Transcripts should be mailed to: ATCAS, P.O. Box 9132, Watertown, MA 02471.
3. Provide course description for all prerequisite courses. Upload course descriptions using ATCAS. Include your plan for completing any courses in progress at the time of application.
4. Request two letters of recommendation (one letter from an academic source and one from an athletic trainer that supervised the required observation hours). Download the observation form (PDF).
5. Complete the support information section in ATCAS. This includes documented evidence of observation hours, experiences, achievements, and evidence of current Emergency Cardiac Care (ECC) certification.
