Facilities and Resources
Anthropology Lab
The anthropology program has a large lab in Strong Hall where our anatomical collection is housed and courses in lithics, faunal analysis, material culture, and bioanthropology are offered. There are also three small labs for individual research in Strong Hall, and the former Forensic building is currently being remodeled into an archaeology research lab.
Student Work Space
We have set aside space for our students to study, work on assignments, and do last minute print jobs! It is also a great place to hang out and spend some time together. The Space is located just down the hall from the main office in Strong 460.
Social Science Research Labs
Our students have access to a variety of useful tools to conduct any number of qualitative and quantitative social research projects. Students can check out cameras or audio recorders to collect data in the field, then analyze that data utilizing programs like Qualtrics, SPSS, STATA among others, in dedicated work spaces within our office suite.
