GCNA 2015 Congress
Guild of Carillonneurs in North America (GCNA)
Come join us in Springfield, Missouri, June 15-19 for the 2015 Guild of Carillonneurs in North America (GCNA) Congress. Missouri State University is home to the Jane A. Meyer carillon, a 48-bell Eijsbouts instrument from 2001. The tower sits centrally on campus as part of the Meyer Library.
Our Congress opens with a host recital on Monday, June 15th and concludes at noon on Friday, June 19th. Attendees will hear great carillon music from artists like Malgosia Fiebig (Utrecht), Ed Nassor (National Cathedral), Jeremy Chesman (Missouri State), and Joey Brink (Winner of the Fabiola Competition). There will also be presentations on topics useful to carillonists of all levels, lots of socializing, and, of course, dancing.
Performers
Malgosia Fiebig
Malgosia Fiebig is the City Carillonneur of Utrecht and will be playing a recital of music by Bach. She has previously won several international carillon competitions.
Joey Brink
Joey Brink, a Yale graduate and doctorate student at the University of Utah's School of Engineering, he is the winner of the international Queen Fabiola carillon competition.
Ed Nassor
Ed Nassor is the fourth Cathedral Carillonneur at Washington National Cathedral. He will be performing music by Sowerby, Elgar, Pinkham, Bach, and Mozart.
Jeremy Chesman
Jeremy Chesman is Missouri State's carillonist and will perform carillon classics as well as jazz arrangements and music for carillon and brass.

Travel & Hotel Information
The easiest airport for travel is the Springfield-Branson National Airport (SGF). The hotel has shuttle service from the Springfield airport. Call 417-864-7333 when you land to request the shuttle.
The Congress hotel is the University Plaza.This hotel is located just down the street from the tower and adjacent to downtown Springfield, host to great restaurants, lounges, and coffee shops.
