Double Reed Day

  • Double reed musicians grades 7-12 are invited, along with parents

  • An online ensemble performance is planned for Double Reed Day

  • Lia Uribe (Professor of Bassoon at University of Arkansas) to provide a bassoon master class

  • Cooper Wright (Professor of Oboe at Mahidol University) to provide an oboe master class

  • "Duel Dou" (Composer Jisoo Lee, Oboist Jung Choi, Bassoonist Yoon Joo Hwang) will also join us!

SATURDAY

Join a fun-filled virtual workshop for oboe and bassoon players in grades 7-12.

  • Master classes provided by Cooper Wright (Professor of Oboe at Mahidol University) and Lia Uribe (Professor of Bassoon at University of Arkansas).
  • Guest recitalists Duel Duo will also join us.
  • An online double reed ensemble performance is planned for noon.
  • Plus, we'll play Double Reed Jeopardy! Edmund Nielsen gift cards are reserved for the winner ($20) and runner-up ($10).
