Audition Information

Applicants must audition to attend Missouri State University as a music major or minor. Please review the scheduled audition dates below and complete the audition request form which is posted online in the fall preceding audition dates.

Non-Music Majors/Minors who wish only to be a part of a large ensemble (band, choir, orchestra, etc.) and/or to apply for a scholarship related to their area(s) of interest should not complete this form. Instead, please contact the appropriate area coordinator(s) and set up a separate time to audition.

2024-25 audition dates

All auditions are held on the Missouri State University campus, Springfield, Missouri.

If you are unable to attend an on-campus audition, please contact the music department office for instructions on submitting a video of your audition.

Acceptd online registration dates open Nov. 1, 2024.
