The division of legal affairs and compliance includes the general counsel's office,
accommodation services and compliance (including the disability resource center),
and the office for institutional equity and compliance and Title IX coordinator.
General Counsel's Office
The general counsel's office oversees and coordinates the university’s commitment to remain compliant with all applicable legal and regulatory obligations.
Accommodation Services
& Compliance
The deputy compliance officer assists the general counsel and chief compliance officer in ensuring that the university maintains compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and serves as the ADA coordinator for the university system.

The office for institutional equity & compliance and Title IX coordinator are charged with promoting, sustaining, and advancing an academic, working, and living environment that is fair, inclusive, and welcoming for all members of the Missouri State University community.
