To begin course work, you initially need to be admitted to Missouri State. Before completing 75 credit hours, you must also be admitted to a degree program.

Developing your custom major
Begin forming the idea for your individualized major during:
- The second semester of your first year.
or,
- The first semester of your second year.
Discuss your ideas with your current advisor and other faculty members with expertise in the areas you wish to include in your program.
If you are not familiar with Missouri State faculty, the Academic Advising and Transfer Center will offer suggestions when you register your intent for an individualized major.
