What type of staff and faculty positions are available?
Administrative, professional, clerical, technical, service and some part-time positions are posted by the office of human resources whenever a employment opportunity occurs. You may find faculty positions at https://jobs.missouristate.edu, or for additional information regarding faculty positions please contact the Office of the Provost, Carrington Hall 209, 417-836-5119, or preferably the department of your discipline.

How do I apply?
The employment opportunities list the available positions. You will need to apply for positions by creating an account and completing an online application form. Once an online application form is submitted you will receive a confirmation number and your application information is saved. In addition to the application form, you will be asked to complete an online voluntary Affirmative Action/ Equal Employment Opportunity (AA/EEO) form.
Each position that is posted specifies the application materials needed to apply (i.e. resume, cover letter, etc). Optional information, such as letters of reference or certificates, may be included if the posting requests those items to be attached.
It is your responsibility to monitor the online employment opportunities and apply by the posted closing date to be considered for a specific position.
Should I apply if I do not meet minimum acceptable qualifications?
Only apply for positions for which you meet the minimum acceptable qualifications. If you do not meet the minimum qualifications, your application will be removed from consideration.
How long will my application and materials be retained?
Your employment information (i.e. work history and education) is saved in your account. You have the ability to update this information prior to submitting your application and materials for a employment opportunity. Once you receive a confirmation number, you may not update your information for that specific posting.
