Deadline for application submission of ALL categories for courses to be considered on January 16th.
- If course is a new course or has a substantive change
- It will need to go through the curricular process to add or change courses (See Course proposal information at the Faculty Senate website)
- Must be submitted to CGEIP for review with the application by January 9th (one week prior to its review in CGEIP).
December 10th
Department Heads and Deans review courses submitted by December 3rd in your areas and make comments and approve or deny course proposals.
January 16th
CGEIP begins review and determination of course inclusion into the revised general education for proposals submitted by December 3rd (Regular CGEIP Meeting).
January 25th

CGEIP continues to review and determine course inclusion into the revised general education for proposals submitted by March 1st. (Special CGEIP Meeting).
March 27th
CGEIP finalizes review of course proposals and compiles complete list of courses within the Revised General Education Structure and votes to send it to Faculty Senate for approval in Faculty Senate April 11, 2012 meeting (Special CGEIP Meeting).
