The duties of the Environmental Management department are not only to assist in providing a safe environment, but to make sure that the University is up-to-date on relevant environmental policies. Missouri State University works to follow all pertinent rules and regulations at local, state, and federal levels.
The Environmental Management department provides information concerning several programs related to the environment and the generation of hazardous waste. This includes monitoring and working toward compliance with the laws that they are based on.
