Empowering Children with Disabilities: Serving in Northwest Arkansas

Every child is a different kind of flower and all together make this world a beautiful garden. –
Rumi

On this trip to Northwest Arkansas, participants will have the opportunity to volunteer with
children who have disabilities. By collaborating with local organizations dedicated to supporting
these remarkable kids, we will contribute through hands-on activities that promote their
development and well-being. Our goal is to create an inclusive environment where these children
can thrive, ensuring they receive the care, encouragement, and attention they deserve.
Participants will engage in daily reflections to process and share their experiences, fostering a
deeper understanding of how small acts of service can lead to lasting change. Beyond
volunteering, we will explore the beautiful surroundings of Northwest Arkansas and build
connections as a group. This trip offers a unique chance to make a positive impact in the lives of
these children while expanding our own perspectives on inclusivity and community engagement.
