Biography
Dr. Kevin Pybas is associate professor of political science. He also serves as the pre-law advisor at Missouri State University. His research interests focus on issues of law and religion. His work has appeared in Justice System Journal (co-authored), Perspectives on Political Science, Valparaiso University Law Review, Cumberland Law Review, University of Detroit Mercy Law Review, Texas Review of Law & Politics, and a forthcoming chapter in Disestablishment and Religious Dissent: Church-State Relations in the New American States, 1776-1833 (2019).
He is also a contributor to the Encyclopedia of American Civil Rights and Liberties, and contributed a chapter to Faith, Morality and Civil Society. He was a post-doctoral fellow at Liberty Fund.
Pybas was MSU’s Provost Fellow for Public Affairs during the 2016-2017 academic year.
