Uphold tradition
We also find reasons to celebrate being a Bear all year long. It all starts at Welcome
Weekend, the best way to reunite on campus before the start of the fall semester.
And each spring, we celebrate our beloved fountain returning on Fountain Day.
And every BearWear Friday, we wear maroon and white (as well as many other days, of
course).

Missouri State athletic teams compete at the NCAA Division I level. Students get in
free to most home athletic events. You’ll get a chance to see our mascot, Boomer,
while you’re cheering on the team.
A Bear's habitat
Be close to your classes, friends and hangout spots. You’ll also get cable, Wi-Fi,

an emergency or school is closed.
You can see a doctor, get a checkup or fill prescriptions at our on-campus clinic.
We have doctors, nurses, specialists and pharmacists dedicated to providing medical
care to Bears.
Dining services offers options for everyone, including healthy balanced meals, vegan/vegetarian
meals and choices for those with allergies or dietary restrictions.
Is a living-learning community for you?
In these communities, students with similar academic or lifestyle interests live,
study and socialize together. It doesn’t cost any more to live in an LLC and get all
the social, educational and personal benefits!
