A new program to support incoming first year students as they learn to be Bears. The goal of the Bears Mentoring Bears program is to enhance the student experience by linking students one-on-one with a peer mentor.
The Bias Response Team responds to concerns about perceived bias-related situations, concerns, and/or complaints, and to coordinate an appropriate response. The BRT will provide an organized and coordinated method of assessment of the severity of an incident or situation affecting the University community.

The larger Springfield Community has numerous resources students can take advantage of. Here are several community organizations, resource centers, charities, and groups students can seek. Many of these groups have partnered with Multicultural Services to execute different events, programs, and initiatives.
