U.S. Citizen Eligibility
To qualify for these jobs, students (that are U.S. citizens) must be:
- A degree-seeking MSU student with at least a 2.0 GPA
- Enrolled in at least 6 credit hours each semester (for academic year employment)
- Enrolled for 3+ credit hours for summer (for summer job) OR you must be pre-enrolled in 6+ credit hours for fall and previously enrolled in 6+ for spring.
Eligibility
International Graduate Students
International graduate students who meet the requirements below can apply for jobs as well. You must be:
- A degree-seeking MSU student with at least a 2.0 GPA.
- Enrolled in 9+ credit hours each semester (for academic year employment) or 6 credit hours (if holding teaching or research assistantships).
- Enrolled for 3+ credit hours for the summer term (for a summer job) OR you must be pre-enrolled in 9+ credit hours for the fall and was enrolled in 9+ credit hours in the spring.
With your F-1, you may also find employment off campus with a community employer. Certain stipulations apply.

International Undergraduate Students
In order to get a job, you must be:
- A degree-seeking MSU student with at least a 2.0 GPA.
- Enrolled in 12+ credit hours each semester (for academic year employment).
- Enrolled for 3+ credit hours for the summer term (for a summer job) OR you must be pre-enrolled in 12+ credit hours for the fall and was enrolled in 12+ credit hours in the spring.
