Your degree in exercise science is a comprehensive degree. This means that a minor is not required.
However, most minors on campus are 18-to-20 hours. With careful planning, you can use the 16 hours of electives toward a minor. Students in the health studies option commonly add minors in psychology, general business, nutrition, coaching, dance or create a personalized minor.
KIN 362 is a prerequisite for KIN 465 and KIN 569; Physiology is a prereq to KIN 362, 550, 567, and/or 569 could be taken as KIN 650, 667, 669 for the accelerated master's classes. DTN 240 must be taken at MSU (BMS accepts few transferred nutrition courses).
