Get Started with BearPACE
You are almost ready to begin using BearPACE! Follow the steps described below to make your BearPACE experience as easy as possible.
Step 1: Open the BearPACE user documentation
First-time BearPACE users often have questions as they use it for the first time. In an effort to guide users through the process, we provide documentation for users. Not only will it guide you through the basic steps of using BearPACE, it contains tips and tricks to help you maximize the benefits of using BearPACE.
We recommend starting with the BearPACE worksheet. This is a two page quick reference resource designed to help you get started quickly. To open the documentation click the View the BearPace Worksheet button below. It will open in a seperate window that you can keep open as you continue to navigate through BearPACE.
For users who may desire additional assistance beyond the BearPACE worksheet, there is a longer extended user's guide available that contains additional detailed instructions and helpful screenshots.
Step 2: Pull a copy of any academic and/or test score transcripts for which you have earned credit.
You will need this in order to have the information BearPACE needs to estimate the credit you may receive. Unofficial copies are fine since this is for your personal use as opposed to an official University evaluation of credit.
Step 3: Access BearPACE
Now that you have your BearPACE user documentation and copies of your academic transcripts/test scores, you are ready to begin using BearPACE.
Note the degree audit portion of BearPACE has limited functionality on mobile devices, particulary on a phone. We recommend using a PC for best results or a tablet is the next best option. This is explained in further detail on the BearPACE main page FAQ. You can return to the BearPACE main page using the "BearPACE main page" button below.
Once you have entered BearPACE, you will have the option to create an account if you would like to save your entered coursework for future use in BearPACE. Information related to account creation is provided in the BearPACE documentation.
