How it works

You can graduate earlier with two degrees.

The accelerated master’s in nursing - practice leadership allows you to:

  • Begin graduate studies during your junior year.
  • Take 12 hours of 700 level courses that will count toward both your bachelor’s and master’s.
  • Complete your master's degree sooner, which saves you an extra semester or two.

This option is available only for eligible Missouri State BSN-C students.

How to apply

You'll need to decide to get on the accelerated track prior to or during your junior year.

To get started, you'll need to:

  1. Log into your My Missouri State portal.
  2. Search for the Graduate College Admissions card.
  3. Select the link for the Accelerated Grad Application.
  4. Upload the required materials: an unofficial transcript, a resume and a letter of interest.
  5. Complete the payment through the link provided in the application.
