Room of Reflection
The Office of Multicultural Programs offers a space that promotes spiritual and or interfaith communication, engagement for the Missouri State University campus community. This space allows for individuals and small groups to come together in a quiet space for sanctuary and fellowship.
Located in the Mary Jean Price Walls Multicultural Resource Center (MRC), room 101, the Room of Reflection is open daily for individuals and group spiritual and or interfaith meditation, reflection, practice and prayer. The room is accessible during the regular business hours of the MRC: Monday through Friday 8am-5pm.
The room may also be reserved by individuals and groups for spiritual reflection and ritual after-hours from 5pm-10pm during the regular business hours of the MRC: Monday through Friday 8am-5pm. Interested parties must be aware that reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Office of Multicultural Programs, Ekklesia, Hillel of Southwest Missouri, The Office of Inclusive Engagement, students, faculty and other staff played a special role in ensuring the Room of Reflection came to fruition by advocating for its important need to the Missouri State University campus community as well as it connection to our Public Affairs Mission.
