Foundation Accounting
The purpose of the University's Foundation is to be the legal vehicle to receive, manage and distribute all private gifts, restricted and unrestricted, for the benefit of Missouri State University. The Foundation provides funds from private sources to a variety of university departments and programs. The primary source of revenue is from contributions and their investment return. The Foundation Accounting office records all financial transactions for the Foundation. Financial reports are prepared, checks are written, and other financial transactions are processed by this office. The Foundation follows the Procurement policies and procedures of the University.
