Loan Counseling
Entrance loan counseling
Entrance loan counseling is a federal requirement that must be completed by the student only before student loans can be certified with the federal Department of Education. Loan counseling educates students on their rights and responsibilities toward any loans they may borrow.
Exit loan counseling
A federal requirement, exit loan counseling reminds students of their rights and responsibilities for the federal student loans they have borrowed. Students are required to complete exit loan counseling when they graduate, fall below half-time enrollment or withdraw from school.
Completing exit loan counseling does not prevent you from borrowing loans in the future.
