The Environmental Management Department is responsible for the collection, treatment and disposal of all chemical waste generated at Missouri State University. The policies and procedures documents provide the detailed waste preparation procedures that must be followed.
University facilities requiring waste removal must complete and submit the Waste Submittal Form. This form should also be used to remove chemicals determined to be surplus or that have reached the manufacturer expiration date. Original labels should be retained on surplus/expired chemicals, as they have a potential for redistribution for use by others.
