Honoring students at commencement

Commencement is a major milestone in a student's life, and as a faculty or staff member, you have played a role in achieving that milestone. That is why we encourage and invite all Missouri State University faculty and staff to participate in commencement.

Faculty/Staff regalia

Missouri State will cover the cost of renting your gown. Our contract allows each participant to keep their cap and hood to use in future commencement ceremonies. If you plan to participate in commencement and do not already own your own regalia, please contact Karen Foster in the PSU Administration Office, PSU 401.

Ordered regalia must be picked up the day of Commencement at Hammons Student Center.

Commencement day

Please arrive at the racquetball court area in Hammons Student Center 45 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony for donning regalia and marshalling.  You will line up in Hammons Student Center then march to the main floor of Great Southern Bank Arena.
