Heather L. Blades

Biography
Heather Blades has served as the Associate Director of the Center for Dispute Resolution (CDR) since 2003. Ms. Blades is an experienced presenter/trainer, facilitator, conflict coach, and mediator who oversees the day-to-day operations of the CDR, works closely with students and community volunteers, and teaches in the Communication Department’s conflict certificate programs. Together she and the CDR’s Director Dr. Charlene Berquist regularly consult for organizations and businesses statewide; offer training, strategic planning, and conflict intervention services; and work with community organizations and University units to form collaborative partnerships to meet pressing communication and conflict needs while providing outstanding experiential learning opportunities for University students.
