Services Offered by CAR
Working closely with local, state, and federal agencies, as well as private engineering firms and individuals, CAR offers a wide range of services that fall under the heading of cultural resources management. We also offer specialized analysis of lithic assemblages, botanical remains, and remote sensing services through subcontracts. Projects undertaken by CAR consist of all phases of archaeological and historical investigations, including

Major agencies for which CAR works include the U.S. Forest Service, the Missouri Department of Transportation, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department, the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Little Rock, Kansas City, St. Louis, Rock Island, and Tulsa Districts). CAR has also undertaken investigations for numerous engineering and consulting firms over the years in conjunction with various federal and state agencies in Missouri, Kansas, Illinois, Iowa, and Arkansas. In addition, CAR projects have been sponsored by private individuals as well as small businesses.
CAR has a variety of equipment and resources for undertaking field investigations, analyzing data, and preparing reports.
