About Bart
Missouri State has been a great place to work. I have experience as a Residence Hall Director, Admissions Counselor, Coordinator of Freshman Recruitment and now as the Assistant Director of Admissions focusing on transfer recruitment. I have twin daughters who recently graduated from MSU. I loved the occasional lunch together in the residence hall dining centers.
Favorite thing about Missouri State?
I’ve seen many wonderful changes on campus over 25 years, but I am always the most impressed with the consistent quality of students. I get to meet students from around Missouri, throughout the US and the world — each one heading to their own destination through the crossroads of Missouri State University.
Favorite spot on campus
Karls Hall (Agriculture building) has a shady sitting area tucked away next to the building. It is a great space to eat lunch and read a book amongst the business of campus. The University Bookstore is my second favorite spot as it is the exact opposite — lots going on and it is fun to check out all the BearWear for sale.
Quirky note
I love a good dad joke and cake donuts with white icing and sprinkles, not necessarily in that order.
