It is located near the Springfield Police substation and is monitored at all times.

Where is the safe exchange zone located?
It is located at 636 E. Elm St. on the north side of the building next to the handicapped parking space.
How do I use the safe exchange zone?
If you plan to use the exchange zone, please call 417-836-5509. You can also use the phone at the police substation to notify us.
The exchange zone has a surveillance camera and an accessible emergency phone. We will make officers aware there is an exchange taking place, so we can monitor the area closely.
