Deputy Athletics Director since 2021

Patrick Ransdell has served as the deputy athletics director at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina, since December of 2021. He is a 2002 graduate of Western Kentucky University (B.A., 2002), with a pair of post-graduate degrees from Ohio University (M.B.A, 2004 and M.S.A, 2005). Prior to his time at App State, he served as a senior administrator in the athletics department at Central Florida for five years.
