Parade Information for Bands
The parade band competition for bands and drum corps will be judged by three excellent and capable music educators. Caption judging for music, marching and maneuvering, and general effect will be used. Trophies will be awarded in each class for Outstanding Color Guard and Outstanding Drum Major. Overall awards presented include Outstanding Musical Sound, Best Precision (execution in marching and playing), and Best Showmanship (energy, spirit, and overall general effect).
Following the parade, the Missouri State Football Bears host Indiana State in Plaster Sports Complex. Participating bands are invited to stay for the football game (tickets are complimentary for participating bands) where band members will have a chance to see the Pride Band's pregame, halftime, and post-game performances!
Parade awards will be presented during halftime of the football game.
