Competitive Video Gaming, known as Esports, is a rapidly growing industry all around the world, growing by the millions annually. Esports is not just playing video games but rather having a passion and a drive for improvement and perfection, as well as team communication and cooperation. Because of this, events such as the League of Legends World Championship, CS:GO ESL, The DOTA 2 International, and dozens more have viewership in the tens of millions.
We here at the Esports Organization follow that same passion and enthusiasm but also brings it to a collegiate level here at Missouri State. Our teams play at the highest level of gameplay, with even our Rocket League team earning money through competing in collegiate events. We want to create a friendly but competitive club for students from all walks of life to come and compete with everyone else. We currently house competitive teams in League of Legends, Rocket League, Overwatch, Valorant, and much more competing against other teams.
The Esports Organization also has many casual gamers that play together. One thing we are doing is incorporating more intra-club events for games like League of Legends that bring more of a relaxed atmosphere and a friendly space to play against your friends and other members of the club, so there is space for everyone here.

If you love the water, then the Missouri State Water Ski Club is the place for you! From recreational to advanced tournament skiers everyone has a place.
If you are a recreational skier just looking to get out on the water, there’s no better place than the lake. Whether you’re looking for a place to ski for fun, or get some quality coaching; there is always someone ready to go to the lake. And with no scheduled practice time, its easy to fit a trip into your schedule.
For the more competitive skiers we have our A and B teams. They travel in the spring and fall competing in 3 event tournaments against other teams in the Midwest. Three event tournaments consist of slalom, trick (this includes wakeboarding and kneeboarding), and jump. Each team has 5 spots in each event for men and women, but note to self, you must be qualified before being able to actually compete.
The tournaments themselves can’t rightfully be described; you really have to see it for yourself. Two full days on the water with talented, spirited teams cheering each other on is straight up awesome, and the nights are just as fun with DJs and theme parties; there is something for everyone! We travel all over in Kansas, Iowa, and Illinois to compete but the closest way for you to join the fun is to attend our annual Missouri State Fall Showdown. So even if you aren’t ready to compete we would love you have you come and cheer us on!
