Biography
Dr. Ward began his teaching career at MSU in 2019. Prior to his appointment at MSU, Dr. Ward had 27 years of clinical experience, 26 of those in orthopedics. Dr. Ward is a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist of the spine. He currently practices part time in the MSU Physical Therapy (PT) Clinic.

Dr. Ward’s research interests include the study of activation of trunk musculature as well as hip instability.

Dr. Ward’s research interests include the study of activation of trunk musculature as well as hip instability. Dr. Ward has 30 years of clinical experience, specializing in treating disorders of the spine. He was a managing partner in a successful outpatient physical therapy practice for 22 years prior to joining the faculty at the Missouri State physical therapy department.
