- As an RNFA, you'll earn more than RNs. The most recent AORN salary survey shows that RNFAs make 12.9 percent more than their peers.
- Meet the criteria of the Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses (AORN) for nurses who wish to practice in the RNFA role.
- In this one-year program, you’ll work with faculty, a surgeon and other members of the health care team. When you finish, you're eligible to take national exams and become a certified registered nurse first assistant (CRNFA).
