University Advancement

The University Advancement Division assists the university in achieving its single purpose "to develop educated persons" by:

  • Providing financial support from the private sector.
  • Promoting public support.
  • Encouraging volunteerism.
  • Providing co-curricular educational activities and events.

Office of University Advancement

The Office of University Advancement is responsible for the university's fund-raising activities and for maintaining relationships with its donors and alumni. The university advancement staff works closely with the Missouri State University Foundation to raise raise over $25 million during fiscal year 2021. The alumni staff works with the Missouri State University Alumni Association to provide a variety of programs and services to the University's over 130,000 alumni.
