Admission to Degree Program
First semester registration for transfer students
First-semester transfer students are allowed to register without a degree hold, regardless of the number of transferable credit hours.
Degree holds for second semester registrations
Encourage your transfer advisee to gain admission into his or her degree program as soon as possible after transferring, especially if he or she has completed more than 75 credit hours.
If your advisee is not admitted to a degree program before completing 75 or more credit hours, the following holds will be placed on his or her registration:
- A DG hold will appear on the record prior to registration if the student has completed 75 or more credit hours.
- A DX hold will appear on the record prior to registration if the student has completed 90 or more credit hours.
