Loss and Grief
What to do if you or someone you know is experiencing loss and grief...
Understand that...
- Grief is a process.
- There is no “right” way to grieve -- each individual grieves in his/her own individual way.
- Natural reactions to loss can include: denial & shock, physical symptoms, mood changes, and appetite changes, guilt, depression.
- This is a good time to use your support systems--friends,
family. - It is helpful to maintain a balanced diet, get plenty of rest and exercise
