What to do if you or someone you know is experiencing loss and grief...

Understand that...

  • Grief is a process.
  • There is no “right” way to grieve -- each individual grieves in his/her own individual way.
  • Natural reactions to loss can include: denial & shock, physical symptoms, mood changes, and appetite changes, guilt, depression.
  • This is a good time to use your support systems--friends,
    family.
  • It is helpful to maintain a balanced diet, get plenty of rest and exercise
