Earn Your Doctor of Psychology (PsyD)

We’re invested in getting more people like you higher in psychology. Our new PsyD allows you to make a difference in clinical settings. Take the core 118 hours in-person then specialize in Diversity and Activism, Integrated Healthcare or Behavior Analysis.

With a partnership between Missouri State and Burrell, you will be educated and prepared to be successful in the mental health field.

Partners for your success

Missouri State offers the doctorate in psychology in cooperation with Burrell Behavioral Health.

This partnership gives you the best education available. You’ll have clinical opportunities, internships and on-site opportunities through Burrell’s clinicians all while you’re earning your degree. This means:

  • Your second-year clinical hours and part of your third- and fourth-year clinical hours will be completed at a Burrell location.
  • Some classes in the MSU program will be taught by Burrell clinicians.
