As you finish the pre-athletic training pathway, you will apply for admission to the Master of Athletic Training program (MAT) during your sixth semester (spring of year three).
You can complete the Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine (BSSM) and the MAT degree in five years.

If you're admitted into the Master of Athletic Training program (MAT), you will take graduate courses in the summer after your sixth semester (year three).
If you don't want to do athletic training (or are not admitted), you will work with your advisor to develop your year-four schedule based on your career interests and/or to strengthen your application to the MAT program once you finish the sports medicine program.
