Becoming an RDN
Our program helps you become an RDN.
RDNs are food and nutrition experts who have met certain criteria.
One educational pathway to become an RDN, is to:
- Complete a bachelor’s degree from an accredited dietetics program.
- Complete a dietetic internship and graduate degree program (such as MSU’s nutrition and dietetics program).
- Pass the national registration exam for dietitians.
Our dietetic internship and MSND programs will make you eligible for the registration exam.
After passing the registration exam, you may need to obtain state licensure or certification to practice nutrition and dietetics.
